Elshareif: An exhibition honoring Palestine
March 30 @ 1:00 pm – April 30 @ 7:30 pm

Mohammad Elshareif is a Palestinian visual artist and medical laboratory specialist from Gaza, born in Jabalia Refugee Camp in 1965. A self-taught artist known for his unique technique of pyrography-burning images onto wood and enhancing them with dyes and heat-applied colors. His work reflects deep themes of land, identity, and heritage. Elshareif has exhibited widely in Palestine and abroad, including solo and duo exhibitions such as “What the Earth Says” (2017) and “Jerusalem, Salt of the Earth” (2017).
Elshareif lost nearly all of his artworks during the genocidal war on Gaza, as his home and studio were completely destroyed
