facilitator bio: Erin is of Ngāi Tūhoe, Ngāti Awa and Pākehā descent and lives in her home rohe between Tāneatua and Ōhiwa in the Mataatua Region. Matariki has a legal background and is currently a researcher and facilitator working at the interface between te ao Māori and western legal traditions.

Her focus has been on the Matike Mai Aotearoa movement for constitutional transformation, and she is the co-lead of RIVER Aotearoa, a Research Fellow for Te Tai Haruru, the Aotearoa Centre for Indigenous Peoples and the Law at the University of Auckland and a community Tiriti educator.
